It is day 22 now and only one good egg was left at lockdown. I now see no movement and bright blood spots near the air sack edge. Is this like a blood ring and bacteria related?

    Hi From Nova Scotia

Very new to chickens and very nervous. I met a silkie this past summer and now have her at home with me, and then purchased eggs online and on day 19! All thanks to BYC! I am a horse person adding chickens to her passions.

    How many Roos??

Not an issue yet. Just wondering what to do with multiple roos in a flock? How old to separate, if you know they are roos (silkies)? Is the general rule to only keep one? Or can they share the flock peacefully? What would you do with extra roos??

    Help! Temp too high.

I found my incubator temp at 105f this morning! Usually at 102. I cooled the eggs and got it back to 102. Will they make it! We are day 8. Silkie eggs.
