Bloody injury to our hen’s neck, apparently attacked by other hens.

One of my hens has an open wound to the back of the neck. She appears to be okay she is eating and drinking water. She is separated in a crate with the food and water. I have petroleum jelly for that but what else should I do?

    Very sick hen

We have had our hens now for over a year. One of them had recently gotten bad diarrhea and was treating all with probiotics and apple viniger in their drinking water. Things were looking better but she took a turn for the worst and I don't believe she will pull out of it. Now she just sits...

    Watering

I had given up using the bucket with the red nipple for watering my hens. Most of the hens would not use it and were always thirsty. So I am back with the gallon jug, have been for some time now. Should I abandon the idea of using the bucket or is there something I can do to train the hens?

    Hens not eating/laying

    Nest boxes

All of the hens are laying eggs. We have 6 hens and we are averaging 5 eggs a day. Now here is the deal. They all lay their eggs in the same box. Either taking turns or laying together two to three hens at a time. Is that anything to be concerned with?

    water bucket vs water jug

I have transitioned my hens to drink from the bucket with the red nipples from the gravity fed water jug. It is a lot less work BUT I don't know if my girls are drinking enough water. At night when I close them up in the coup some times they are sitting on the ramp and the door way not wanting...
