Trouble hatching ducks
My Muscovy hen should hatch her ducklings around or on July 18. She started with 18 eggs. We are down to 7. They just keep being rotten. Anyone know the possible cause/s? -

Unreceptive female duck
I have a female Muscovy duck who fights the males. Every time one tries to breed her she starts yelling at them (for lack of a better word to describe the sound she makes) and beating them with her wings while she chases them. Have you seen this before? -

I recently released 4 Muscovy ducklings. They were 13 weeks old. 3 hens 1 drake. My Ancona mix immediately fixated on the chocolate hen and proceeded to mate her- over and over. This is day 5 and she is missing. Do you think he killed her? I can find no feathers anywhere.
