Hi all. I previously had golden comets who gave me an egg daily faithfully since they began laying. I replaced my flock this year with 5 red stars and some other later breeds (not laying yet). The red stars all started laying July 4th-8th, however I only get typically 1-2 eggs a day of I'm lucky...
Just for giggles. I have 12 girls consisting of 5 red stars, 2 buff orpingtons, 2 speckled Sussex, 1 light brahma, 1 barred rock and 1 cuckoo maran. 2 of my red stars started laying the 4th. Today we caught a buff doing the egg song and a few hours later we found these two eggs. Any ideas who...
Hi all, I have 14 hens and 2 roosters that are 17 weeks old. We are looking into giving a friend one of our roosters and I was wondering if anyone knew if it would effect our hens at all? We just got our first eggs today and he has been mating a few of the girls.

We have 2 baby pekin ducks. We are needing to build them their adult house however I'm not sure on dimensions. They will free range daily and only be locked into house at night for their safety. I know it's says at least 3sq ft per duck but I can't find anything on how tall the house should be...
