I have a 7 week old, 5 week old, and two 3 week olds. The younger ones just had their combs turn much redder than the older ones and it made me question their sex. Would anyone like to hazard a guess?
My two young ones with red combs starting.
My oldest one is 7 weeks
And the 5 week old
Purchased some production RIR's from TSC. Supposed to be pullets, but 1 got red before the other. We named her Rosey, and Rosey has recently started making what sounds like a sick beginning of a crow! What confuses me is that both RIR's seem to have same body, legs and feathers, just different...
My BR's hatched and I was expecting to be able to sex them, no problem. However their head spots and feet color either don't match, or are questionable. Anyone want to make a guess? I "think" I'd call them pullet, roo, roo, but the medium color legs throw me.
