I tried an inkbird, and it failed, killing 200ish eggs I had set. It was so disheartening that I didn't incubate for over a year. But there are some rare birds I'd like to get into, and hatching eggs is the only way I'll afford them. So I'm back to trying to build an incubator, but the only part...
My ducks have been laying just shy of two months, but recently, I've been getting fart eggs. I've had four in the last two weeks. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I'm giving my recently hatched ducklings away, but I have an idle curiosity of what color they'll be when they grow up. My drake is black, my ducks are black, chocolate, and what I think is fawn, so what could I get from that? Here are the baby color morphs:

I've got 30 odd runner duck eggs in the incubator. Hatch date was yesterday, they pipped, but it's been 30 hours since they've increased the holes. They're peeping, and rocking. Is this normal? This is my first hatch.
Three weeks ago I got a flock of three month old runner ducks, and while yes, I know they're flighty birds, this is a bit ridiculous. They literally won't leave their coop while I'm in the yard. It's a half acre yard! If I have to get in the coop, they try to claw each other to death in a corner...
I thought I saw somewhere an automatic chick depositor into a brooder box from the incubator, basically they move to the light, go through a short tube and end up in the brooder. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and do you have pictures or video of it, I would be very thankful. My...
Looking for a true ameraucana cockerel, one guaranteed to have offspring with blue eggs (double dominant for the blue egg laying gene.) Large fowl only, preferably in the central Florida region.
What would be the easiest recipe to get blue/green eggs with sex linked colors? Additionally I would like them to be a heavy layer, preferably of large eggs.
I was reading on the James Marie webpage about sex linked quail, but it appears there's no place to purchase them, or anything about them beyond the name, really. Does anyone know about them, or if they're just not available?
This is what the website had to say about it.
"Quail farmers and...

Hello, I've been thinking about raising quail for a while now, and I finally have the significant other's permission to do so- however, she doesn't want the brooder in the house. (Honestly, neither do I.) So I have to come up with a way to have heat without electricity, as where it would go...
