    feathers

    Is it normal for 6 week old chicks to lose their feathers off their backs? I have 5 silkies, and 5 welsummers that have all there feathers. I have 5 EEs and 5 Red sex links that have lost there feathers off there backs and tails. They are the same age I thought this was weird.

    I live in TX, and planning to make an order with Ideal. I was just wondering if anyone has ever gotten any Welsummers from them? and what did they think about them?

    Rooster That want sleep!

    I have a rooster that is up at all times of the night. He will start to crow as early as 3:30 and keep it up until mid morning. Any ideal what makes him get up so early. He is in his coop with the doors closed and the hens roosting.
