    Hens not setting on their eggs...?

    I have two Silkie hens that are laying eggs but will NOT set on them. I have left them in the pen hoping that they would get the hint, but so far nothing. Does anyone have any advice as to what I could do to get them to set on their eggs?

    I have a friend that has Pekin ducks and they keep dying. She has them in a pin that is up off the ground and closed in de to the weather being colder.     I'm new here to BYC!

    I am so ecxited to have found this site. I am from Georgia and just started raising chickens. I have found that it's very addictive, and that I want EVERY chicken I see. I love the ones I have and can't wait to get more!
