I bought baby chicks from the local farm store... this little sweetie wants out of their enclosure every time she sees me. She loves to cuddle.
Anyone have a guess on her breed?
I am in Oklahoma. We are experiencing 100° plus weather most days. I have some week old baby chicks. I have a growing pen in my back yard that is under the shade of 2 huge pecan trees.
Would they be okay outside? Or not? What are your thoughts?
I bought a handful of chicks yesterday evening. When I got home, I realized I was out of wood flakes. So I used the Crumpled Paper Litter that I use for my 2 parakeets. Is this okay? Should i be concerned?
Got these cute little chipmunks today. Farm store had no clue on breed. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Also, in a pinch I used some of my parakeets' crumpled paper bedding. Is that okay?
This cutie is a Meyer Meal Maker.
I was thinking Leghorn, but the comb doesn't seem large enough. She is 4 months old. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Forgot to gather eggs yesterday evening and today. So some have been in the nests for over 24 hours with 100° heat. Will they still be okay to eat?
Thanks in advance.
I am posting a video of Frieda, she has now passed away. She had these symptoms for approximately 6 weeks. Getting worse as time went by. I tried Tylan 50 and Lyncomycin. ACV and VetRX. Has anyone experienced these symptoms before? Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if there is an egg withdrawal period while my flock is on NeoMed 325? I've heard conflicting answers. Please advise. Thanks in advance!
