I hear there is no way to tell but its the internet, you can't really trust it. So is there a way to tell? Cause they don't get the tail or anything until they are older. And do you have to keep the hens away from the roosters?
i have looked for answers but it seems no one has any. i know all about pine chips, wood, newspapers, rags, and hay but I'm just very curious about the black mulch. I've looked up whats in black mulch and it says there is dye in there but I'm not sure if it will be safe for my soon coming chicks.
