It seems TSC is always mislabeling their chics so I’m here for help from the chicken community. I have several I’m curious as to what they are. They are 9 weeks old. Thank you!
I put my newly hatched chics in the brooder with a heat plate and they are chirping like crazy. I was worried they weren’t warm enough so I put on the heat lamp and they laid down and were quiet. I can’t find my thermometer and I’m worried the plate isn’t putting out enough heat for them. Thoughts?
I’ve been reading about keeping dust down with chics in a brooder box. Can anyone share pics of their set up with a Rubbermaid or similar box? I’m desperate to try to get the dust down. Any tips are welcomed!

I have a week old chic that hatched under a hen. Today it appears she’s being attacked. She’s out with the rest of the flock like the other chics I’ve hatched under hens and they haven’t had any issues. Is this normal?
I started my flock on Corrid 3 days ago but there’s one who is still pooping straight blood. I have no idea who it is it I would separate and treat as well. Is there anything I can do besides Corid? Here are the pics. All my flock is 2 weeks old to 3 years old.
I had a chic hatch this morning and mama s still sitting on 2 more eggs. Should I keep chic with mom or move her to a brooder where she has access to water and food? Where she’s at now I can’t fit water and food in that area.
