I went to check on my quail to find a male dead. It was obvious he was attacked. Most likely by another male. I was pretty sure that as long as the males were raised together they wouldn't fight? Is that not true?
My parakeet just laid 3 eggs...... She hasn't been sitting on them is this normal? I would like to maybe incubate them if she doesn't sit on them. I can't figure out how to incubate them though. Help
Something is very wrong with my quail chick. It just turned about 3 days old, and is nothing like the other chicks. Can quail have down syndrom or autism? It is not normal at all.
I have hatched a bunch of quail, some still hatching, but one, in particular, seems to have an eye problem. Its eyes look nothing like the rest. It had cripple foot but I was able to fix that. How would i be able to tell if it is blind? Is there any way to help it?
My male coturnix quail is plucking his feathers and I have NO clue why. He should not be under ANY stress. He has plenty of food and water, and lives with other quail... What would be the cause of this?? Its so sad to see him like this. Any ideas to make it stop?

Ok so my eggs are now 3 days past hatch date and I don't want them with crippled toes! I know that there is life in them... Is there any way I could help them get started hatching??? Please help! And normally crippled toes is a fixable problem but there feet are so tiny it is impossible to do.
