Picked up 9 bbs americauna chicks from a good friend that is breeding locally. Anyone in clayton nc area I can get info for you. I will get the bird line info just so I can keep up with it and share. I will be logging their grow out here too.

Got a new flock on the farm. New babies are Indio gigantes from greenfire farms. Currently they are about 2 weeks old and growing fast. I can't wait to see these birds grow up! Now I have to build a big coop and run for them. Probably be a small shed size to house this many large birds. Well...
These are birds I got from a local silkie breeder in nc. One I purchased as a chick and the other I hatched from his eggs. They are all black w green iridescent feathering and a top hat and no apparent combs. Well i can't find the pic of the smaller on I hatched but they are basically twins.
Well just wanted to have a thread to keep up with my chix pix as they grow up and move from the incubator to their coop and everything between. For now we are in the house growing up in brooders.
