Baby bobwhite calls
So my baby bob's are 5 weeks old and I already have a male calling! I didn't know they called this early. Sorry for the quality of video, I was just going for audio. -
New chicks to the flock
Put our 4 week old baby quail in with our adults today. We have one lone male that will go in the cage with these. The wall is a metal screen so they can both see each other and it's strong enough that no one can break through. We'll try this first and wait on introducing them for some time. -
Juvenile quail available in IL

Quail loneliness and aggression
I have 3 bobwhite quail, all raised together - 2 male, 1 female. The female chose a mate, I separate the pair (males were fighting) and have my one male alone. My female gets very restless. The pair share a pen in my basement that is about 3.5x3.5feet. She'll pace back and forth around the end...
