    Dogs & chickens

    does anyone have suggestions on how to keep your dog from eating chicken poop?? It doesn’t agree w/her digestion and besides it’s gross. I yell at her, but then she goes right back to it.

    Feed sack recycling ideas??

    does anyone have any ideas on what to do w/all the feed sacks one collects? I use a couple for recycling (cardboard, cans, #1 plastic), and I wipe off my dog food bags & use them for wrapping packages (inside out so I can use the blank side for addressing). Oh, and I use them as trash bags too.

    Yikes! They are vultures!

    not really... but they are eating like little pigs. Should I feed them twice a day or should they have food all the time? I’m using a pie plate and filling it about halfway 3-4 times a day for 25 chicks. Thanks for the help! OOPS! Wrong forum!!

    Little cuckoo :-)

    Hi, We bought 7 Black Australorps and a bunch of Freedom Rangers; this little “cuckoo” got mixed in w/the Rangers. I’m just curious to know if this is an egg layer or a meat chicken, and what type of chicken she is. Thanks!!

    Chicken Newbie

    hi all, I’m from AK. Used to have goats and now I’m switching to chickens. I have Black Australorp & Freedom Ranger chicks. Looking forward to free range eggs and meat.
