    Fertile double yolk

    This is my first time incubating a batch of eggs, and what do you know…. Two of the eggs are double yolk and have tiny chicks in there. Has anyone had any success hatching these type of eggs before? I’m excited but is worried at the same time.

    New chicken to flock

    I recently added two new chickens to my existing flock. To my surprise the rooster did not try to fight them or anything, but instead he eats with them and sleep with them. On the other hand the new chickens are constantly chasing and pecking my older hens.... I’m confused as to what gender are...
