    Broken eggs in brooding nest

    Our Fawn Runner went broody, much to our surprise, but I have discovered broken eggs among her nest. If they didn't stink, I wouldn't find them. I have to clean out the nest so there isn't bacteria. Does she break them? Is a hen maliciously doing it while she's off the nest? What's the scoop?

    We get mice in our shed that stores all the feed, tools, machines, etc. This isn't the chickens living space, but in proximity to their space for free ranging. Anyone know if this sonic wave would bother the chickens? Also have ducks and geese

    Red skin, broken feathers

    We have a guard goose that was pulling our chickens feathers, mostly at their necks or their tails, but since adjusting her diet we notice the painful redness around their preen glands and some missing wing feathers. I’m pretty sure this is a mouse problem, but do the mice actually chew on them...

    Small Pool Water for Goose

    We have purchased a decent size rubber tub to bury in the ground for our gooses bath/pool time. We've put a drain in it and will construct a cover. Anyone have suggestions for water treatment to help keep the water longer before draining and refill?

    We have our first chicks and one gosling, raised together for a guard goose. We are wanting to provide healthy supplements, but are confused about probiotics and coccidiosis preventative. Please advise!

    New chick owners in Bonner Springs, KS

    We have been excited to get chickens since moving into our country home in October. We are finally working on the coop and run areas, hope to fill with chicks and a goose in 12-15days from now.
