If so, how do you like it? I got it because it has Marigold in it which is supposed to make the egg yolks darker. My hens do free range all day and have access to feed all day, but their yolks are a light yellow still.
Anyone have experience with Leghorns covered by an Isbar Rooster? My brother, a leghorn fanatic, had chicks half leghorn and half Isbar and they are now laying a really nice blueish green egg with the frequency of a Leghorn. Would a Lavender Ameraucana/Leghorn produce blue layers in similar...
I've looked high and Low! And I even got scammed with those being sold on amazon from China. Waited over a month and a half for them and they are just so bad and Fake, it makes me mad all over again thinking about it. Does anyone know where I can buy some in WA state? I'm located in kent.

What do you guys think? We have a white Plymouth rock that should ideally be crowing by now if he were to be a rooster(6 months old). Although he looks like a chicken, he's been mounting one of the hens and this is her egg.
I got this one as a chick and it's now almost 4 months old. The gal sold them as Lavender americaunas. But he/She isn't really looking like one. That tail looks rather rooster. Yes?
Thanks!
We shingled the nest box lid, that thing is very heavy. My son was checking for eggs, his fiftieth time today and dropped the lid on his finger and somehow ripped a chunk of meat off. Any ideas for some sort of slow close impact absorption method?
Thanks
My MIL is insisting this is a Rooster. She's about 4-5 months old, no eggs or crowing. Just eating all of my food. These things have an appetite for sure. Anyways, Rooster?
Thanks
This might not be the smartest of questions, but are you able to tell the age of a chicken at all? I got this barred rock hen, advertised as a 9 month old. She hasn't laid any eggs in the week we've had her. I'm starting to wonder if she's younger. Or super old lol. Please help.
I'm back with another question. This pullet or roo is about 8 weeks old and is supposed to be a Lavender orp. Is that the shredded feather gene causing this feathering and always molting look?
Opened up the coop this am to let them out for the day and saw this one random turd. They get water with ACV, scratch and peck chick starter and chick grit. I've yet to see who made this poop.
The other day I posted help on a pullet that's been losing loads of feathers randomly... could that...
You guys I need help!
This 6 week old chick has been losing feathers like crazy. It started out just on her bottom but now it's under her feathers and around her neck. We checked pretty closely for mites or any moving creepy crawlys and as far as I can tell, there are non. No other chicks have...
She's a week old and I've never seen spraddle leg in a chick but yesterday It became much more evident she was dragging her left leg. We used bandaids under the zip ties to prevent friction. She keeps biting at the brace, making me nervous to go to bed. We have her separated with a weaker chick...
Hey guys,
I incubated some chicks and they hatched a couple days ago. I've been feeding them scratch and peck chick starter and water w/Apple cider vinegar (With the mother). 4 Cups to 1 tsp ratio. And no, not apple cider to water as my husband loves to clarify lol. Anywho we came home and...
