A little update from my last thread.
About a week ago, this little (silver laced wyandotte), the same little I inquired about a while back, started to turn red.
Of all 12 babies, Ducky is the only one with bright red comb/wattle areas. As far as the lack of actual comb, all 6 of my Wyandotte...
Hey all!
And again, we got more chicks than I wanted because my husband is an idiot 🤦♀️
Of the 12 we got, one of them has super short secondary feathers.
Hoping she's a late bloomer 🤞
She also doesn't have even a smidgen of a sign of a comb coming through. I have her side-by-side with 1 of the...

Any ideas...
Meet Mabel.
Upon purchasing our chickens, she was 1 of the 6 black stars (black sexlinks I guess) we requested and brought home. Sadly, my favorite one passed after a magpie snatched her.
Anyway! Within the first week, I noticed she looked a LOT different. Her coloring was more brown, and she...
We brought home 20 chicks in April, and they're all about 7 weeks old now. We have this girl, I call her Mabel, and I think she MIGHT be a black Copper maran. She was with the 6 black stars (or black sexlinks....whatever they're called) when we brought them home. She is very obviously different...
