    Good ways to keep sand in the outside run from freezing in the winter.

    I've thought about using a heat lamp in the run when it snows to keep the sand dry or from freezing. The sand for the most part stays dry when it rains unless the rain is blowing in to the run. What are some other alternatives to keep the sand from freezing?
