Is this sticky duckling? Is this an emergency or just slow??

These 3 Muscovy eggs I have all started pipping 5 days early. This open looking one was first to pip and that was 51 hours ago. He pipped dead center on the side and I saw brown/black underneath the pip so I helped in scraping some of the shell and brown membrane away. Since then he’s just been...

Is this normal? Possible Psycho Duckling on hand...

I have a couple of eggs I've been incubating and last Wednesday night the first one (Cayuga/Khaki Campbell mixes) hatched. He was out of the shell almost a full day earlier than the other. Once the second came out, about 12 hours later the first started getting really restless. He was prodding...

Is this a good or bad thing? The unhatched egg is kind of side zipped? he can get his beak through but his body is mostly still inside. The other one hatched last night and is now pecking/pulling at the other.... should I move him? Let him help??

Help! Accidentally knocked the incubator while one of my eggs was rocking (already externally pipped)....

So as the title says, I've got some duck eggs in a Farmer Innovator incubator (it's set at 102.5 so Lord knows what the actual temp is, from everything I've read the temp reads higher than it is and the humidity reads about 10% lower than it really is... so my humidity says it's 60% right now)...

Barnyard Mix Duck Hatch-A-Long April 2021

This is my third attempt at hatching - no success to date. My first was from a friend’s pair and I don’t think they were fertile. The second batch was $30 down the drain from someone on Etsy. One egg was smashed on arrival and the others showed no veining by day 12. Both were set in a shoddy...

Duck hatching eggs in/near Richmond, VA

Hi all - I’m new to the hatching world and am looking for someone relatively local that may have fertilized duck eggs I can pick up. I recently ordered 6 eggs from Texas via Etsy. 1 was smashed upon delivery, and none of the remaining hatched. 1 was a dud, 1 developed a blood ring, and 3 simply...

    Hello from Virginia

Hi all! After a friend of mine got into backyard chickens, turkeys, and then ducks, she spread the fowl fever to me. I tried to hatch some of her Cayuga and Khaki Campbell eggs but I don’t think they were fertile. I got impatient and ordered a mix of 5 hatching eggs from Etsy which are now...
