Hello!
Someone is offering these 3 birds and I would like to give them a home, but due to “no roosters allowed” rule where we live, I don’t want to take them if they are roosters. Is it possible to tell if they are roos or pullets already? They are a little over 2months old.
Hello!
Yesterday morning our brahma chicken (6months old) was very lethargic and I could just tell she wasn’t feeling ok. She didn’t eat or drink much.
I tried finding a doctor that could help, but I could only find one that can take us in soonest on Monday. And a lady that offered helping us...
Hello!
Our silver wyandotte started being broody. We found a lady that sells eggs for hatching and got 12 eggs ( she added 2 extra so it was 14 eggs in total)
Now she is on her 12th day and she has eaten 6 eggs. Just now I went to check up on her and she cracked one right infront of my eyes...
Hello!
I had kept this leghorn as I thought it’s a pullet ( we can’t have roos where we live) .
Before his/hers brothers went to their new homes they had already started to “sing” , but this one hasn’t done that still. And that was almost 2 months ago when they went to their new homes.

Hello!
We let our chickens out this morning and our leghorn is walking like this. She was completely okay last night when we locked them in their coop for the night.
She is really flimsy and walks only a little, then she plops to the ground and just lays down. She eats and drinks normally...
Hi guys!
Yesterday I posted the young roosters I am giving away in the local chicken group on FB.
This one man commented that I should be ashamed of the leghorn roo that I am giving away because it looks hideous. When I asked him what’s wrong with my roo, he just said that he doesn’t look like...
I apologize for so many posts in regards genders of my littles, I am not experienced at all.
Before giving these 2 away i just wanted to be 100% sure that I am right. These 2 are 3 months old leghorn exchequer cockerels right? :)
Hello!
I kept this bcm because we thought it’s a pullet, but it’s starting to grow this red big comb and now i’m thinking it’s a roo.
He/she is smaller in size than the pullet on the left (second picture).
What do You guys think? Cockerel or pullet?
Hello!
I thought this cochin chick is a cockerel. As I am living in a no roosters allowed area, I posted an add in the local chicken group on fb and someone wants him. But this one lady messaged me saying that he infact is a she?!
So now I am confused. He (or she?!) is 2 months old.
Does...
Hello ! 🐣
