Hey there! In the past I've only had layer hens but now I have all sorts of poultry like bantams and I now have roosters.
The reason I'm keep chickens now is more of a hobby. But the eggs are nice aswell ;):p

Currently, I only have shavings in the coop. What about the run?
Right now it's just dirt.

The cost of shavings is getting pretty pricey and to fill up the whole run it would be around two full bags...
I have 17 and 15 week old pullets. They are still on starter.
I have two white leghorns in their that are 17 weeks old. They aren't showing signs that they are going to began laying yet.
However, do I switch them to grower?
