now if you remember me. i lost all 3 of my geese but i want to buy more. (also some ducks because i have 2 females now) and im wondering how to make geese friendlier or less aggressive? should i only buy females? im not looking to have more geese so i wont be getting ganders also they are...
Do drakes also sit on nests? i saw mine sitting on the nest yesterday instead of the duck (i assume he is a drake because he is way quieter than the duck. like a whispery noise all the time). any replies greatly appreciated
so recently my only 2 ganders died. (1 was my cousin's but meh). and i wanted to know how should i mourn their death. ive only got i assume a goose and 2 ducks.
So. Its the first big snow here and the geese are kinda loving it. They love digging in the snow and often jave their entire beak covered in snow. But they prefer partially hiding where there is less snow. Both the ducks are more excited to explore and dig in the snow
This is my first winter so. are there any tips for keeping geese during the harsh winter in poland? its pretty hot inside their coop where they live with chickens. they dont seem to mind the cold right now but i just want to be prepared when it gets colder
i would like to know how to identify between a male and a female. i assume i have 1 female because she is like a scaredy cat. while the other are aggresive.
also tips for identifying the gender of a duck (and geese too because i dont really know how to do it)
