So. Its the first big snow here and the geese are kinda loving it. They love digging in the snow and often jave their entire beak covered in snow. But they prefer partially hiding where there is less snow. Both the ducks are more excited to explore and dig in the snow

Absolutely in character! While my chickens cower in their coops, my ducks happily lie in the snow and my goose girls frolic in it!

 

[My Very First 6 Chickens]

Its a cool 25 this morning in Ct but the sun is shining. All 7 hens got some warmed up water added to feed to make a mash. Added some oatmeal and some left over meat. Molting chickens in the winter....... Everyone is eating and moving. I'm happy.
