I am at a loss on how to deal with scaly leg mites. I have been treating about every 2 weeks for 6 weeks, and I STILL have chickens getting them. My coop has a dirt floor, and the chickens have a covered area outside that used to be grass, but is now dirt. Here's what I've tried so far:

This is my first time using an incubator, and I've been paranoid that I'm going to mess something up. Today is day 22 (if I don't count the day I set the eggs), and I just heard a little peep coming from the incubator!
Here's one of the chicks on day 11 of incubation. They're all very active.

My 4 week old guineas escaped out of their enclosure this morning. They apparently all went in separate directions. One was on the front porch, but as soon as it saw me it took off in the woods. There's one way down in the wetlands near my house (I hear it screaming its head off), but no idea...
One of my 3 week old chicks went missing a few days ago. So did the entire nest of eggs that my broody was sitting on.
Today I found broken eggshells on a shelf outside of the chicken house and eggshells all down a piece of drainpipe that was sitting on the shelf. The eggshells are neatly...
I saw pips and heard peeps late last night, and woke up to 2 little chicks this morning. They are currently living inside until their mother finishes the hatch, then they will go back to living with their mom.
Can 2 broody hens raise their chicks together in the same enclosure? One egg hatched today, but some of the other chickens (not the other broody) tried to kill it. I was going to put a pen around both broodies (they are due about a week apart), but I don't want any more chick harassing going...
I have 2 of Tang's (see my page on the forum to see pics of him) sons that are almost a year old that I need to rehome. They've been living together with their dad with no issues for their entire lives, but how Tang has started to bully them, so it's time to go. They are free for anyone within...
Does anyone have any true Araucana (not Ameraucana, not EEs) in NC preferably near Raleigh? Someone I know is looking for some to photograph for an article she is writing on the breed. She has been looking for awhile and can't seem to locate any. She might be willing to travel at least an...
I have 3 mixed breed roosters (see my profile for pictures of the parents...they are Tang's sons) available. I also have a white non-bearded white silkie rooster available.
I have some mixed breed 6 week old bantam chicks that are free to a good home. Parents are a quail antwerp belgian/black frizzle mix and the mom is an autralorp/black frizzle mix. The parents are posted below as well as a few of the chick pictures. There are also 2 black frizzle babies and 2...
These are out of a mixed breed accidental breeding. Some of you may be familiar with Tang, my rooster, from previous posts. I'm keeping the little girl (if she stays a girl), but the others will get new homes. It's too bad some of the other girls didn't turn out as pretty as the boys. You...
Here they are from 1 week old to 4 weeks old...

Here's what they look like today. Are they all EE colors or are any of them Ameraucana colors?
The rooster (very patriotic), also the brown on him is not dirt, it's part of his...
I have a white silkie that developed normally as a chick, but I noticed today he was limping a little. One hock is larger than the other and is actually causing his leg to spraddle out to the side when he walks. It doesn't seem to be painful and he has full range of motion in that leg, the...
