Guinea with swollen legs
I'm new to guineas this year. We have four, housed with a flock of chickens. They are about 10 months old. One of the four injured a leg several months ago. I thought she had recovered, but the past few weeks she has been limping again. Today when I went to let everyone out, she came out but...- KimM

Drinking too much water??
We got 4 Cayuga ducklings today and they have been at their water non-stop! Is this normal? They are eating as well but I haven't even really seen them sleep- they are just constantly over at the water dish. Should I be limiting them somehow?? -
How many did you start with?
I read that 6 is a good number of ducks to start with if you are new to ducks. But it's so hard to narrow down my wish list of breeds. I started with 12 chickens and that seemed fine, but for some reason 12 ducks seems like more than 12 chickens if that makes any sense.... and I don't want to be... -
