Duck question
I live on a lake and we've been in a drought so our lake is low and we have more birds than normal during winter. When I came home today, I saw a white duck with a male mallard and four brown babies. Is this normal? We had a flock of mallards earlier but when the weather stayed warm they left... -
Knot on hens head
My rooster has been very rough with my laying hen. She looks like she has been beaten on her head. She is black and swollen on the side of her head where I think he grabs her. Also you can see the back of her head is swollen. I can't see any broken skin. I've got her isolated in the pen...- JudyK
