    My first hatch - 7 out of 9 (but the day is not over). Mom Looks good, and the chicks appear to be healthy. Keeping my fingers crossed for the last 2 eggs to hatch.

    Worried about hen

    My hen is sitting, chicks are due 8/7/11 I noticed this morning that her comb & waddle are pale. Could she be sick? She has food and water, so that she does not have to get off the eggs to eat or drink.

    My hen is due to hatch her first eggs 8/4/2011 She seems to be doing very well. I need to get prepared for the arrivals.
