    Clueless about nesting boxes?

    My hens are about 16-18 weeks old and have shown no interest what so ever in the nesting boxes. They haven't even explored them out of curiosity since we put them in their coop WEEKS ago...will this change? I plan on putting a fake egg in the boxes...I've been told that might help.

    A bit worried about space...

    I have 5 chickens. I know that the general rule is 4-5 ft per chicken in the coop and 10 ft in the run, however my dimensions for my coop and run are as follows: Coop - 4' by 4' (about just over 3 ft per chicken) .
