I talked a man a few years ago and I think his name was Martin. Had a farm he called Marty's Minis that sold blue-eyed Nigerians. Can't find him now for the life of me! Does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
Thought some of you might like this one... Dedicated to our wonderful Pyr, Isabelle.
Autumn Moon
Did you see the moon tonight,
Lighting the eastern sky?
Reflecting autumn's faded sun light
As the wind whispers a lullaby.
Gazing at the stars above,
Listen, you can hear
A red foxs mourning cry...
Would any established bloggers be interested in writing a brief piece on chickens, eggs, farming, etc. as a guest blogger?
My blog is www.creekwoodlivestock.com. Maybe we can drive a little traffic to your blog and give my readers a little variety!
I've seen it all... A guy brought chickens to the sale yesterday in a WASHING MACHINE!
He'd gutted out the parts, put a grate on the bottom and a hasp and padlock on the lid. All I could say was WOW!!!
There's a pic posted on my blog .
Saw this online earlier and thought it was hilarious so I posted it and a story about rowdy roosters when I was a kid.

Thought I wanted to set these myself, until I fell victim to the Ideal Hatchery bantam sale. With 25 Bantam Brahmas on their way Wednesday, I'm relisting these eggs.
These chickens belong to my grandfather. I'm selling them for him while he recovers from foot surgery.
Is it possible for Australorps hens bred to a turken rooster to have some sort of sexlink chicks?
I order chicks off the net a few weeks ago as "Australorps." After they hatched and feathered in, they are black with a golden head, just like my BR/RIR sexlinks. Their necks are feathered, too...
These chickens are my grandfather's. They, along with his Australorps, are, in his words, the best chickens he's ever owned. After doing a little research, these little bantams appear to be Dutch Bantams. The rooster has a nice comb and white ears. The hens are light brown.
I've finally got this thing figured out!!! My new goal is to sell enough hatching eggs to fund my need for keeping my incubator full!!!
Sounds like a good plan, eh?
I have 10 of these eggs. The chickens are my grandad's. He's been in the hospital, so we're taking care of his chickens. He wanted to set these eggs, but life sorta got in the way.
I've been studying pics online and these chickens look exactly like the Dutch Bantam pics I've seen online. Tiny...
I have a website for my farm and have had several people call and ask for info on breeds, breeders, etc. I'm thinking of putting some sort of directory up on my site, with contact info (email addresses) for breeders across the state.
Any of you interested? If so, post your contact info...
Love my AU Tigers, but...

Love to my peeps!!!
This guy's a beaut! He's the only PR I have and is driving me nuts with my Welsummer hens. He's just started crowing and loves the ladies. LOL
I am located an hour, due north, of Pensacola, Fla. and an hour and 15 minutes northeast of Mobile, Ala. Also, about an hour and a half southwest of...
I recently received hatching eggs from a fellow BYCer. Hatched out 10 identical SLW chicks at Thanksgiving. All these weeks later, the chicks are nearly identical in size and marking except for one. This chick is less than half the size of the others. Eats well, identical "feathering in" and...
