Washing machine chicken cage

I've seen it all... A guy brought chickens to the sale yesterday in a WASHING MACHINE!

He'd gutted out the parts, put a grate on the bottom and a hasp and padlock on the lid. All I could say was WOW!!!

He had a grate on the bottom, but not really. I bought two beautiful Partridge Rock hens from him pretty soon after he arrived and the Production Reds he had went pretty fast, too. Thank goodness they didn't have to stay in there long.
