Taking a duck to a beach?
I've had this question for a long time and I've been thinking about it a lot recently. I live by a few beaches and I was wondering if I could take my duck there? I thought salt water would be a bad idea for non seaducks. -
Charging duckling?
I have a duckling that is almost 5 weeks old. Last week I put her in a cage with two 1 month old Indian Runners. She stared them down then proceeded to actually charge the two runner ducklings over and over. What's up with this behavior? -
Need help identifying 3 week old duckling
Got this one at the flea market again. She's about 3 weeks old and getting feathers in. They look like mallard feathers, but it's hard to tell. Not sure if she's a mule this time. She has light feet with no black and white toe nails. -
Odd question about muscovy mixes
So, I was talking with featherfinder last night and I brought up a weird question that neither of us knew the answer to. Since my duck Peking is a Muscovy mix, and is definitely a male, does he have a penis like a Muscovy? It's a question worth asking LOL. -

Is it illegal to possess a Mallard mix? I was told by a park ranger that my apparent muscovy mallard mix is considered a game bird and is illegal to possess. I am going to contact FWC tomorrow morning, I just wanted to know your guys' imput upon this situation. Thanks! -
