I am interested in buying a silkie pullet to add to my flock of 4 pullets.
I currently have 3 standard pullets (australorp, wyandotte, and gold sex-link) that are 2.5 months old and 1 porcelain silkie pullet (I think!) that is 3.5-4 months old.
I had 3 silkie chicks and two started crowing so...
I bought 5 nipples and the requisite tools for making my own waterer. The only thing I need is the container. If you have any suggestions for container/set-up I would greatly appreciate it!
I have 4 pullets.
(Don't want to do anything too fancy with pipes, etc-- just finished building the coop...
I bought 3 silkie chicks when they were *about* 1mo old (think they may've been older). Two months later 2 are definately boys. This is my last hope for a girl (can't keep roos) but I'm afraid it's a boy too.
Any silkie experts want to weigh in?
