Noting has changed from the other post. The motor starts and stop by it’s self. Ruins for a split second then stops and continues this pattern till I unplug the cord. The only diff is now the photo cell is hooked up and now it doesn’t run till I press the limit switch and hold it. Following...
Ok yep sorry I left that out. I was trying to get the limit switches figured out first. I hooked the red photo cell wire to the 120v relay. They I just ran the white and black to a cord and plug in on the wall. Now I have to push the one limit switch and when I hold it down it starts and stops...
So here’s where I’m not sure. Off my 12v coil I go to my limit switch. Where does the wire get connected at on the switch?? Which tab? This relay is my close relay. We will take this one wire at a time I guess
So I hooked up my old laptop power supply and it makes the one relay click on its own and the motor obviously moves when it clicks. When I press the limit switch it stops clicking. The other limit switch does nothing at all. Humm??
Yea ok I finally got around to looking at this and it makes no scene at all to me. Starting at my 12v COIL (up relay) I run my wire to which one of the 3 terminals on the the limit switch??
Then from which terminal on limit to the 120v relay?
Great yes I know it goes in between there but there are three terminals on the limit switch which wire gets hooked to which terminal I guess is what I was trying to say thank you
So on the limit switches where does the wire go from the 12v relay? Does it go to normally closed or com? I see where the normally open wire goes on the limit to the 120v relay.
On the 120v relay does it matter what side the 12v goes to?
jt so I’m putting some parts together tonight and the rest of them should be here tomorrow but on your drawing where do I put in the photocell? I’m not using the up and down switch like you have next to the up limit and down limit switch’s?
So on the drawing your 0V is just your negitive wire I...
