What Breed?? Black dotted orange face?

It will be easier to tell in a week or 2. The last one im guessing is a leghorn. What breeds did the breeder have? The first ones legs look kind of greenish? Most likely and Easter Egger. Just guessing. Its really hard to tell at this age.

Guess what Breed my Roos is!?!?! (try 2)

Quote: He does not have a rose comb. It is a fairly large straight/single comb. I agree he does look a lot like the OEG (he looked a lot like an australorp once too LOL) But if he is a banty y'all dont think i should get him some banty hens? I had a D'uccle rooster once and he couldnt...

Guess what Breed my Roos is!?!?! (try 2)

the OEGB suggestion looks promising. Ideal does sell OEGB. If he was a standard OEGB would he be this size? or is He for sure a banty?

    Gender guess for D'uccle please!

That looks a lot like a hen to me. I had d'uccles for several years and the roos always had much redder combs than that. I might be proved wrong but im saying hen.

Guess what Breed my Roos is!?!?! (try 2)

Ok so i got these chicks a the first week of April. The Rooster was a week older than the other chicks then and was bigger than them. I posted pics on here and because of the white one the bottom of his feet everyone agreed he was an Australorp. Well now its may and the hens are bigger than he...

    Black Roo - what breed

I looked at what ideal has to offer and because of his feet I'm thinking Australorp? the white wing feathers are really throwing me here. Do some black chickens have white when they are young?

4 week old assorted bantams, is there an easy way to sex them?

You should be able to tell if they are male or female after a few weeks. The males will have noticeably redder combs and thicker feet. At least with some breeds that is.

    Black Roo - what breed

We just got new chicks 6 hens and a mystery roo from the straight run group. The Straight runs were not clearly bantys or standards so i just picked a large looking roo to take home with the girls. We think he might be a java. You cant see it in the pics but has white on his wings. Feet are...

    Knit Caps w/Ear Flaps?

A few people on the Tennis team here was wondering if we could get some hats because most of our season takes place before the last frost. I've been telling the coach how we need hats because 60% of your body heats lost threw your head. However we dont have a lot of funding. Does anyone on here...

Dropping the Egg - need packing ideas!

My Nana just gave me a sea sponge. If i jam the egg in the middle and drop it from 5 ft (my height) the egg bounces but does not break! Add some bubble wrap and we may be good to go. However i did buy some styrofoam blocks... lets keep bouncing a few ideas around. My partner and I are...
