I'm Patrick. I live just about as close to downtown Raleigh as you can without being in Downtown. I have a small flock (6 birds) and raise mainly for eggs. We have a Bantam Rhode Island Red (Scarlet), Bantam Barred Rock (Priscilla), Old English Game Hen (Dana), Red Sex Link (Porkchop)...
So this is Dynasty. I have no clue what breed, if any, she is. I have no clue as to her origin, other than judging by her age, she was either bought as a specific breed, or came from a mail order.
I posted the wrong email.
It's just [email protected]
And she may have decided to keep more of the birds, gotten rid of many since the last time I talked to her (before the holidays), or may have just been referencing the chickens. The 1000+ number was ALL the fowl she had. Either way I hope...
My first two bantams!
Priscilla (Barred Rock) Scarlett (RIR).
Prissy's my favorite though. She loooovvveeesss me. Or maybe it's just the broccoli I bring her...
I was in contact with her tonight and she said for anyone to feel free to contact her directly.
Her email is:
[email protected]
Her name is Yvette Streahle (pronounced Stray-Lee)
Thanks again for all your help guys!
Don't know if this is the right category but here goes.
I recently expanded my flock by three birds. I got them from a woman and this is her story.
She's a retired civil engineer from New Jersey who moved to Sanford, NC. She began raising fowl as a hobby and it grew to where she now has...

The blacker one is most def a Barnevelder. I found a picture of one that looks EXACTLY like her. The other one doesn't have penciled feathers. I think it's the flash making them look like that. Thanks everyone for all your help!
I know the Red lays every day. The black and unknown... I haven't caught either one of them in the act of laying yet, but one of them is laying a HUGE dark brown egg.
Unknown chicken egg at the top, then red sex-link, then bantam RIR, then OEG, then the second egg my Barred Rock ever layed...
These may be mutt chickens. I think one is a Buff Orpington. At least the lady who gave them to us said it was.
This is the possible orpington.
These are the two I have no clue about.
