    Legs dislocated?

My 5 month old suddenly looks as if both legs are dislocated at the hip area. Right at the point where the feathers begin growing. Every step looks like the joint moves to the side. What can I do to help?

    Sad day

They do have a hen I'm actually going to adopt from there once her stitches come out. She was pecked in the head by a bad rooster. It was really bad. she is doing so good and she is very social! She loves to be held and rubbed.

    Sad day

2 weeks later. I'm so torn. We went back to the place that agreed to take our City code Law Breaking Roosters. They had to be kept inside for two weeks before they were allowed to be in the large outdoor pen with the other roosters. The owner warned us that there will be fighting and they may...

    Sad day

Today we gave up our roosters. I'm really sad and resentful. I resent the city for not allowing Roosters when dogs are constant with their loud yelps and disturbing barks all day. Our 4 month old just found his voice a couple of weeks ago. My heart dropped. We though we had 2 hens! We spend time...

How much do your chickens love you?

It's funny, our 2 chickens go bananas when they hear us coming. No matter which family member it is (me, my husband, or either of our children) They are only about 9 weeks old, so I guess they might change as they get older. But as we approach the run, they flap and talk and even climb the...

    Help with determining breed

Thank you. We have become attached to them... Our city does not allow roos. I'm crushed. They sing like girls? While they chip a lot, when alone, when we socialize with them, one of them sings. It does this bird type of singing thats really pretty. Gonna miss them.
