    HAtching eggs are "sweating"

    Would you describe the material as similar to salt crystals on the exterior of the shell? We too have material on the outside of several newly set eggs...haven't incubated eggs in 30 years. This material was not on the eggs when we set them in the incubator. Please advise!

    Hennyhandler, it's been a long time since I hatched and bators have seriously changed. Kids and I are learning together. Staggered hatch is a result of chicken math! Room in the bator is a problem....

    I'd love to join you. We started 13 BBS Marans on Wednesday night and have 7 more to add today. I also have 15 Basque eggs coming next week to go with some local Aracuna / Americana eggs my daughter will have from her teacher. This is our first hatch this year.

    RCom Pro vs. Standard

    Received my RCom 20 standard today. It does have the auto turner. I believe the pro model has the capacity to hook to your computer and the digital display is enhanced. Can't tell you anything beyond that.

    RCom Pro vs. Standard

    I believe it does, but I will be able to tell you for sure in about a week as I ordered mine yesterday. Also just saw a post on increasing the capacity from 20 to 50. Might see how that goes in the future. PM me next weekend and I can confirm the auto turner or not.
