Euskal Oiloa ( Basque Thread)

Pics
Hi Everyone,

I am new to the breed with 12 little ones in my brooder. Was hoping someone could help me identify sex of 2 week olds or direct me accordingly. We've guessed but I'd like to to know for sure.

Good morning, everyone! I'm very happy to have found this thread. It has taken a few days, but I finally finished reading all the posts. I have 11 EO eggs in lockdown (thank you, James!) and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of some chicks. This my first time incubating and I'm really nervous about the outcome of the hatch, though they all looked pretty good when candled.

Argh, clicked the wrong button. Try, try again . . .

~ Guess the Gender ~

At three weeks the guesses were:
blue - roo
brown - pullet
green - roo
Hobbes - undecided
purple - pullet
red - pullet
white - roo
yellow - pullet

Now five weeks old:

BLUE

BROWN

GREEN

HOBBES

PURPLE

RED

WHITE

YELLOW

I could be wrong, maybe Hobbes is a roo. The comb is pink.
Yellow's coloring is really pretty already. Amazing how many different colors you can get.
I have two from my first hatch and they seemed really easy to sex. Roo has big comb and wattles and is white with some barring. Female red with very small comb and wattles. I'll have to post some pictures. Mine are 6 weeks old.
sure does get more complicated.
