I started a gaggle of 12 geese a long time ago- Toulouse and Africans. I thought they'd make noise and protect each other. Mine don't. They go silent and just run away as fast as they can. So now, when I hear the geese talking in the dark, I know they are conversing about the cats...

Aww, your dogs are sweet! Our dog is now 15 years old...and a great mommy dog to all of our animals. She chased our cat when she was little, just to get him down and lick the hell out of him, lol! We have cats, chickens, ducks, geese, mini horses and llamas...even bunnies and guinea...

This is inaccurate information. Eagles WILL chase down and eat live chickens and ducks. Look at Internet videos. I have had bald eagles kill three of my birds in the last two weeks and I rescued my Cayuga duck from the talons of a mature eagle as well. My neighbor saw several eagles...
I don't know if this applies to your situation, but my birds free-range too, and I feed them twice a day- a little in the morning and more in the afternoon to top off those full crops! I do overshoot the amount of feed from time to time, but I feed outdoors and a wild flock of free-loading...

Pile up dirt around a good section of the pool to make an incline where they don't even realixe they are stepping up onto anything. You can just put the dirt ramp on the bricks to give you some elevation without having to...

This is exactly the thing I was going to suggest. See if you can take ownership of a chore or two and then work your butt off to make sure they're done frequently and correctly. If she doesn't think something was done properly, ask her to show you how she wants it done. Keep emotion...

Oh yeah, I was going to suggest that you look at the behavior of the remaining birds. Are they staying under cover of trees and shrubs? My chickens all do that now since the eagles showed up and they alarm call at almost any type of bird that flies over. Maybe you will see something...
Over the years we've had several attacks by dogs- different dogs, different owners...the last time my neighbor saw two dogs killing a pullet that apparently flew over the fence. My neighbor chased the dogs home and confronted the owner, who OF COURSE denied that her precious dogs would do such...

I've been losing birds to bald eagles. Sometimes they kill and eat the birds on my property, but I stopped an attack a couple of weeks ago, and while the eagle had hooked my duck and was dragging her off, there were NO feathers.
