I think Googie my Goose is MAD at me!!!!

Today I was washing out her pool while she stood anxiously waiting. Like she always does, what a good girl. When all of a sudden I had a brain storm!! I am sure she doesn't agree!!

Here she is all Mad at me!!

And this is what happen to her pool!!!

I guess I will go on the hunt for a new pool for my poor Goggie!!

Yup! Kiddie pools make great brooding spaces for chicks! I put my Brinsea EcoGlo in the kiddie pool with them, and the chicks egulated their own heat. Of course, that was before I had ducks which needed it.

gryeyes I have a 10X14 shed I use as a brooder with hanging heat lamps. But it has been a lil cold outside. I have moved most of the bigger ones out but these Little's get to say in for a bit longer. Which is so much fun I feel like a kid on Christmas morning all these lil cuties to play with

Awww, how many chickies are in there? I've done this before with chicks in my laundry room, lol!

I think 45 or so!! But I have another dozen of black silkies in the clear boxes behind the pool and a dozen mottled banty cochins. I am hatching all for myself hatch and cull.. This has been fun. I have never hatched so many at one time before.
I love to sit and watch them in the morning before any one gets up..

But the pool makes veiwing so much easier!! I think I need another one.
And my lovely Goose Googie gave me her 1st egg
