We have a flock of 10 now and are always looking for another to...
One---Which was this past Friday--
At 1am in the morning=the light on the electric fence was not glowing...and that means trouble---so with the fence check--the biggest Copperhead I have ever seen was found wrapped around the fence..frying!!
With that said-- I again am ever so thankful...
Hi--Fellow NC'ers
I have 3 RED Handsome Silkie/Cochin Mix Cockerals that need a new roost!
Their dad isn't fond of them being around much longer---so they are FREE!!
They were hatched on April 1st 2009
Happy and healthy, with nicely feathered feet and hair-dos as well!
Can meet in W-S...
Well=I have never seen more broody hens then that of Cochin Bantams.........

They get up to eat, etc but then its strictly back to their invisible eggs....and I cant seem to break them--
How about something similiar to try to help him learn his name--
Like ..Cheshire...
(like the Cat in Alice and Wonderland)
He is bound to be smiling and happy to be in his new loving home!
He is very handsome.good luck with him!!

If these chicks are housed with other chicks or poultry I would isolate them immediately--it is very catching....
If the 2nd option is used with reg...
Thank you--
Yes-most clay...Hand-sculpted (no molds) and painted...however the China pins are not obviously..they are wrapped with copper...My Husband is a Copper Smith, and I sell those at his shows...
I would have to keep my chickens or any other animal of mine up away from poison oak...
(The plants dont usually hurt animals...)but, (like you)I am severely allergic to it..and just petting something that has walked through or even passed by it would get me Fast!!
Good luck with your...
I have been making/painting chicken pins...
I usually make other types but have looked for Chicken pins and havent had any luck...so am making my own now...lol
Who knows--I may even take some to sell for local poultry shows if I can ever get a whole bunch made!
PS-keep the picts coming~...
