    My sisters pekin skinned his bill pretty bad. i cleaned it with peroxide and then put neosporin on it and some vasline on top to keep germs and dirt out. Is there anything else I should do to help this guy out? I'll post pics tomorrow. thanks

    Dog attack, 8 week old, injured!!

    i would post pics on here so someone more experienced can tell you if its broken or if it is something else. i would also bring both her and her buddy inside. she needs rest to heal. if it is broken you can splint it.

    from what i hear a sand base is the best and easiest for ducks. i have them on gras or what was grass. they love to dig and mud up the place. i only have three so its pretty easy to throw down some sand dirt mix if there pen gets to wet. I would clear the brush before you use that space. I...

    yes the will interbreed. if you want pure ducklings then you should seperate them, but if you don't care or don't plain on hatching any then put them together. i would quarintine the new guys to make sure there healthy. You might have to entroduce them slowly, ducks dont always get along at first

    its usually a vitamin deficiency, i would pick up some niacin and add it to there water. it should straighten out in a week if u do this

    you could let her hatch 3 or 4 of her own(put some extra dummy eggs in the nest) and then incubate a few yourself. Best of both worlds
