Me too I am thinking none of my Cochin Bantams made it either I had 3 that I could definately see moving before lockdown but nothing yet.....I did have a few hot days it hit 111 in the bator but I still had movement 6-7 days after that so I don,t know what happened.. So sorry for your batch...

We have always mixed pullets they seem very accepting to new comers it is when they get older that they notice the age difference.. I would definately keep a very close eye on them but think you should be fine with mixing them. Also unless you can watch them outside I would try to keep them...

I think you gotta look at them and get to know them before you name them.... For instance we have a chick that will peck at almost anything and the kids think it is funny so they started calling it Pecker I had to carefully explain that we should find another name for our little curious chick...
We have a huge blend of chickens and aside from the size difference had no problems with blending them. I would put him/her in with the others and monitor it very closely in case they bully....
We started with 4 from my SIL and ended up getting a few more from our local feed store just to see if we wanted to continue now that we LOVE our chickens we get them through our 4-H advisor who raises her own.. Maybe try to get a hold of a local club and see if they know of anyone who breeds...
