I will do thank you for the advice, will be trying those for sure, I will just hold its bill or something when it's in the water. Il keep you posted :D
Oh sorry I thought u was trying to say that I was pretending to be them
And write a message haha. Yeh that's a good idea I could probably just hold him in salt water maybe in a couple days so the wound has healed a little first? I'm not too sure what breed they are, they are all really big and...
I know what he said I read it, I just didn't know how to quote before so I put his name in speech marks under my comment to let him know that the message and question was for him. Why what is your point in copying the message???
Thank you for the after care advice, it's very helpful as the problem had been fixed but we just need to keep his separated now. Do you know how long they need to be separated for?
Right quick update, we took the duck to the vets today, they told us it would be cheaper to get it put down but they could remove the penis for £50 so we opted for that. It is now back home doing ok so fingers crossed after all that money he will be ok :)
Thank you for uploading the picture for me and thank you for the advice, I will see what the vet says but the only problem Is if they tell me it's going to cost a lot, I just won't b able to afford it :( I will update tomorrow

Well that's good news, I have just been keeping it clean and using antibiotic cream on it which seems to be keeping it under control, with the tip being pink I don't think the skin is dead enough to cut off. The picture is in my photo album I'm not too sure how to add it to my comments
So do I do it myself? Where do I cut it? It is pink right at the top and right at the tip end, does that not mean its still live tissue? Would it not bleed to death? And what do I put on it when it's an open wound? Help please
Kayla

Our chickens are free range in our garden, a few weeks ago 2 of our chickens disappeared and we didn't see than at all for over a week. We assumed that a fox had unfortunately been in, but a day later they both appeared so I was determined to see where they had been going. I sat and watched them...
Yes it already seems to be pretty far up, il have to have another look tomorrow as the tip looked pink when I last looked. I think maybe the best thing to do would be to just take it to the vet and not think about the cost haha thanks again.

I know I wish I had asked sooner as I may have been able to have saved all this happening. I will be calling the vet after the weekend and hopefully it won't be too pricy as I really don't think I could do it myself. I have read that some people have just kept cleaning it an the dead skin has...
