She's been laying for 6 months or more. I think she's been broody cuz she wants to stay in the nest so much. She's running around fine today but I'm gonna keep an eye on her.. The other OE I have hatched 11 eggs a few weeks ago.
I gathered the first egg Fri. and the 2nd one today. They both came from the same Olive Egger. The first egg had NO shell at all!! The 2nd egg has a shell but it's inside the "skin". What in the world causes that?? lol
I know ya'll might think I'm nuts but I promise this is true. I have a 2 month old silkie who keeps putting her head between her legs and seems to be stuck there for a good while. She rolls around till either she moves it or I do. What in the world can that be??? She's same size as the other 2...
Here's ours for the bantams.. The whole set up will change this fall but this wil still be used. Made of pallets, straighten nails and 4 gal mayo buckets.. Cost a few nails and wood shavings..They climb up fine but I want to raise the bottom of "ladder" a few inces

We decided to remodel our coop and one Deleware hen did not want us to! First thing was taking down the "make do" nest boxes then the few perchs we had up. We basiclly gutted the entire coop. The whole time we were taking down the old boxes Cinderella was right there trying to stand on the boxes...
breathing normal. Eyes etc look fine. not limping. I can't find a thing wrong with her. just wants to sleep. I use an eye dropper to get water in her. she barely wakes up. Been like this since noon or before this is poop. I'm not sure if it's hers but it's like alot of the droppings left in coop.
