I used to be able to select the "breed" tab and indicate what type of bird I was looking for. Now it is tucked away under Reviews and I cannot select qualities anymore.

    No eggs!

I have 3 hens that were purchased in February. Two of them have been laying for a while now since July. However, I have one that hasn't laid one! Is it possible that she is sterile? Or maybe she requires more light than the other two? Any ideas?

We purchased 10 straight-run chick-a-dees a week ago (a few were 8 days old at the time and the others were 15days old). We have RIR, BR, and a few unknowns. They are growing so quickly. They are all getting their feathers in, growing combs, and establishing order in the brooder, but we have NO...

Dry heaves or soundless practice crows?

What does it mean when a 8-15 day old chick opens its mouth? It reminds me of dry heaves (in a way). Do they practice crowing or do they regurgitate food?

What age can my chicks go outside?

I have chicks that are between 8 and 15 days old. I live in the IL/WI area and it is going to be in the 60s for the next week. Is that too cold for them (considering that they are under a heat lamp all day)?
