    When I clean my nesting boxes and put in new clean straw I sprinkle a little sevin dist 5%......never had a problem.........hope this helps. BTW I never stopped eating the eggs.

    I have 6 black sex link. They are beautiful. But if you want the BEST sex link........friendliest and best egg....get the red stars. They are the best imo. Congrats on the double yokers!

    Although I use bleach too.........Estes Hatchery has it posted on their website to NEVER use bleach for feeders, waterers. I used bleach before I ever read that and I continue to use it since it's the only way I knew of to get the darn things clean. Just thought I'd mention it.

    I really don't know if she's been laying.......I have quite a few and it's hard to know. Her tummy feels soft......checked that out. Her eyes are clear and she's walking slow but appears to not have an injury. Gosh.........I never did the glove thing.......wonder if I should.
