I agree that the ducklings under the hen are already going to be imprinted to your hen, so working on imprinting/bonding will work best with one of your ducklings in the brooder. Good luck :D

I have a question for all you call duck owners. How big do calls get? I mean size not weight. I'm comparing different breeds. If you can tell me how long from base of neck to preening gland that would give me a good idea. My pekin is 11". Thanks in advance :)

I have one pekin duck (non flying breed) and the one thing I have to say is unless your duckling is raised with chickens or chicks it will most likely imprint to you, meaning that it will constantly want you which will make it very difficult to keep outdoors when it gets loud and vocal calling...
